Job summary

Technopals Pte.Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT operations professional in Singapore to provide L1/L2 application support, perform system health checks, and resolve issues to minimize business disruption.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in EE, CS, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in application maintenance, support or server infrastructure.
• Experience with Kubernetes and logs inspection.
• Proficient with multiple virtualization platforms (VMware, Xen, KVM, OpenStack, CloudStack, Azure Stack).
• Experience with cloud orchestration and configuration management.
• Strong networking knowledge: routers, switches, and WiFi.
• Experience deploying Ceph with object storage, RBD, CephFS.
• Familiar with NAS, SAN, and SDS storage technologies.
• Experience with Salt/Chef/Puppet/Ansible automation.
• Knowledge of load balancing and TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS routing.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Knowledge of IT security standards (CIS/IM8) and policy management.
• Hardware restoration skills and server maintenance.
• Scripting in Bash/PowerShell/Python or similar.
• Proficiency with Linux OS (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• System installation planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application support and system checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues with on-site support.
• Monitor application health and system alerts, escalate as needed.
• Log incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with L3 teams and vendors for escalation.
• Perform routine maintenance: updates, patches, backups.
• Maintain documentation of issues, fixes, and procedures.
• Participate in system testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
• Assist in user access management and configuration tasks.
