Job summary

A prominent food establishment in Singapore is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will supervise kitchen staff, manage food costs, and ensure food quality and safety. Applicants should have at least 1-2 years of culinary experience, preferably in a restaurant or hotel, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office is required. This role offers a competitive salary between $3500 to $4000.

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, and lead the kitchen team efficiently. The ideal candidate is disciplined, hands‑on, and able to balance speed, standards, and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a small team of kitchen staff, including matters such as discipline, termination and assessment of their performance.
  • Handle food costings with given budget restrictions.
  • Train new employees on the job, and enforce strict safety guidelines.
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly production planning and prepare work schedule.
  • Handle ordering of ingredients for production usage.
  • Ensure the kitchen is safe and in hygienic conditions at all times.
  • Organize the inventory, storage, and distribution of food supplies.
  • Compliance with food safety, the highest quality of food, and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1‑2 years’ experience as a chef, preferably for a restaurant or hotel.
  • Management or supervisory experience will be an added advantage.
  • Good communicator with leadership qualities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for food and culinary arts.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.

Salary: $3500 to $4000
