Job description

Are you a stay-at-home mother or active senior who is looking for part-time work to supplement your income? Why not consider joining us as a kitchen helper?

In this role, you will be supporting a group of culinary instructors who are all stay-at-home mothers to run cultural cooking classes for tourists and corporate baking/cooking workshops for organizations. We will put you on a duty roster of 2-3 sessions a week, depending on your availability. Each session has an average duration of 5 hours. You will be paid $80 per session.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructor on simple kitchen preparation (like washing vegetables and defrosting meat/seafood) before the cooking class
• Wash cooking utensils/appliances, dry them and put back into drawers
• Sweep and mop the floor and wash the toilet
• General cleaning of the studio appliances (fridges, freezer and ovens)

Requirements

• You are available to work on weekday mornings and afternoons
• Availability to work on weekday evenings and weekends will be an added advantage
• You can commit at least 3 days a week, with each session of 5-5.5 hours at our cooking studio
