Kitchen Crew / Pastry Chef — POUT Café

POUT Café is a rooftop café located in the city centre, offering specialty coffee, fresh pastries, sandwiches during the day. In the evening, the venue transitions into ABODE, a cocktail-forward bar featuring crafted drinks and a refined selection of small plates.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Support daily kitchen operations for both café and bar service
  • Prepare and / or produce pastries, including cheesecakes, and other baked items
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety standards at all times
  • Manage ingredient preparation, storage, stock rotation, and basic inventory tracking
  • Ensure consistency in presentation and product quality
  • Collaborate with the team to support smooth service flow
  • Contribute ideas for new food and menu development where relevant
Expectations
  • Prior experience in kitchens or pastry production is preferred
  • Strong understanding of basic culinary methods and food hygiene standards
  • Good time management and ability to handle fast-paced service periods
  • Consistent and reliable work ethic with attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
