Job Description & Requirements:

The Kitchen Assistant (Morning Shift / Night Shift) is responsible for supporting the kitchen team in food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food according to recipes, menu specifications, and presentation standards (e.g., cutting vegetables, meats, sauces).
  • Cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team as needed.
  • Ensure all supplies and ingredients are available for preparation; maintain proper stock inventory and storage.
  • Set up and stock workstations, ensuring food is prepared and delivered consistently, on time, and of high quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Comply with instructions from the Head Chef or Chef-in-Charge.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
