Job summary

A local restaurant in Singapore is seeking a kitchen assistant to help with food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Responsibilities include assisting with food and drink preparation, cleaning kitchen areas, and supporting cooks as needed. Experience in the kitchen is preferred, and candidates must be flexible to work on weekends. This is a full-time or part-time position based in Vivocity or Suntec City.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including counters, equipment, and floors.
• Assist cooks during meal service by fetching ingredients and tools as needed.

• Dispose of trash and maintain waste-management standards
• Assist cooks during meal service by fetching ingredients and tools as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by cooks or kitchen supervisor
