Job description

People

• To demonstrate responsibility and commitment for work done and to the achievement of individual and team goals.

Performance

• To follow quality control guidelines, food and beverage hygiene and safety guidelines, portion control guidelines, maintaining quality control of food products and demonstrating plating/presenting food.
• To demonstrate trust, respect and support towards co-worker and/or supervisor in daily activities to achieve Qi Ji’s objectives.
• To apply the knowledge and skills in maintaining the food and beverage service environment (eg.cleaning, wiping workstations, maintaining floors and performing closing duties.
• To accept and provide feedback, advice and assistance in a considerate and constructive manner to accomplish task assigned

Procedures

• To package finished food products in accordance to packaging guidelines and special orders when required.
• To ensure that required ingredients are present, equipment is set up and ready for use.

General

• To take responsibility for being up to date with current policies and procedures and to adhere to these.
• To adhere to Food safety and health requirements at all times.
• To practise personal grooming and hygiene.

Skills and experience required

• No relevant retail/ operations experience
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the company
• 6 Working days with occasional need to be in different location due to business exigencies.
• You may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects on an ad-hoc basis.
