ITQ Description Supply of Manpower Services for Kitchen Aide

Objective & Workplace

Deploy one Kitchen Aide to support practical lessons and food science experiments in the Cookery Rooms / Preparation Room.

Location: North-East

Scope of Services / Key Responsibilities

• Assist in ordering, receiving, and preparing foodstuffs for practical lessons.
• Check delivered food and verify quality.
• Wash up and maintain cleanliness of kitchen, preparation rooms, and equipment after each lesson.
• Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines; store fresh, frozen, and leftover food safely.
• Check, clean, and arrange kitchen equipment at the end of each session.
• Dispose of rubbish and manage kitchen waste appropriately.
• Conduct stock-taking of ingredients and expendables, consolidate, order for upcoming lessons, and file invoices.
• Wash and dry kitchen towels and dishcloths.
• Perform other duties assigned by HOD C&T.

Skills & Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English to support teachers.
• Minimum 1 month of food preparation experience; preferably 1 year in a government school environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.
• Team player who is meticulous, organized, and able to multi-task.
