Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a technically driven Programme Engineer to bridge internal engineering teams and external clients, overseeing end-to-end delivery of complex precision engineering projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering background, 5 years in programme roles, and hands-on CNC/CAD/CAM experience. Strong PM and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in programme or project engineering within precision engineering/manufacturing.
• Hands-on CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and high-precision measurement tools are advantageous.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, CATIA or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and project management skills, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with NPI, manufacturing and QA to hit milestones.
• Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges in projects.
• Apply knowledge across precision processes including CNC machining and metrology.
• Oversee prototype development and assess manufacturability.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for high-precision components.
• Ensure quality and tolerance standards are met across projects.
• Coordinate testing, validation and inspection of components and assemblies.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams on technical matters.
• Prepare and present progress reports and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically driven and client-focused Program Engineer to join a leading precision engineering firm. This role serves as the key bridge between internal engineering teams and external clients, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-precision engineering projects. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and brings both strong project management capabilities and solid technical knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets across multiple precision engineering programmes
• Work closely with NPI, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure project milestones and objectives are consistently met
• Proactively identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges throughout the project lifecycl
• Apply technical knowledge across precision engineering processes including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrolog
• Oversee prototype development and assess the manufacturability of product design
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for high-precision components and systems
• Ensure all projects comply with stringent quality and tolerance standards in line with precision engineering requirements
• Coordinate and oversee testing, validation, and inspection processes for components and assemblies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams on technical and programme-related matter
• Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments to key stakeholders

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5 years of experience in programme or project engineering roles within the precision engineering or manufacturing industry
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and high-precision measurement tools is an advantage
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is a plus
• Strong knowledge of precision manufacturing processes and materials
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Familiarity with MS Project or similar project management tools

Good To Have

• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100
• Prior experience managing client relationships in sectors such as semiconductor, aerospace, medical devices, or analytical life sciences
• Exposure to advanced manufacturing techniques such as additive manufacturing or laser machining is an advantage
