Job description

We are on the lookout for an exceptional individual who will lead the charge in crafting and implementing innovative business strategies aligned with our company and brand vision. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional partners, distributors, and key retailers to drive our business objectives forward.

As the driving force behind sales activities for assigned key accounts, you will be responsible for achieving ambitious sales targets and market share. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing in-store sales fundamentals by optimizing product availability, shelf space, brand visibility, pricing, and promotions. Working closely with retailers and the operations team, you will ensure that our product portfolio is well-distributed, and promotions are effectively managed to maximize growth and market share.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Grows total business by developing and implementing sales strategies and business plans for the assigned customers to achieve assigned market share, sales budgets (In-market sales, shipment sales, GSV, NSV and GP).
  • Manages distributor/s and operation team to achieve perfect store execution and distribution expansion.
  • Works closely with Trade Marketing team to ensure effective execution of the local promotion activities.
  • Responsible for assigned customers’ account receivables (AR) and to manage and control allocated trade spends (FGA) effectively.
  • Work with supply chain team on volume forecast and ensure its accuracy for reliable delivery of assigned sales target.
  • Maintains close collaboration with brand/marketing team to ensure effective execution of the brand proposition and plans in assigned customers.
  • Leads, train and motivates operation team with regular field works to achieve desired results and company objectives.
  • Management of trade relations and negotiate effective and efficient trading terms with assigned retailers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews on sales performance and trade business activities with assigned modern trade retailers.
  • Constantly evaluate ongoing sales promotion activities to support business growth and improve ROI by conducting pre and post trade promotion analysis.
  • Lead, develop and implement strategies for effective merchandising and shelf management and tracking local market intelligence in assigned customers.
  • Recommend and be involved in financial decisions in assigned customers.
  • Constantly identify and develop growth opportunities in assigned customers.
  • Manage customer complaints and queries on company products.
  • Any other duties assigned by company.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
  • 4-6 years key account management experiences in managing modern trade retailers in FMCG industry with food categories is preferred.
  • Have a vast track record of successfully growing MT retail sales performance as well as delivering on budget and long-term strategy.
  • Additional functional experience, preferably in Marketing, Trade Marketing is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Highly analytical with strong business acumen.
  • Strong influencing skills in managing key stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
