Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Equity Trader to support our trading activities in the Japanese equity market. The role involves executing trades, monitoring market movements, and assisting in research and reporting to ensure efficient trade execution and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor equity trades in the Japanese market under senior trader supervision
• Conduct market and company research to support trading strategies
• Assist in preparing daily trading reports and performance summaries
• Maintain accurate trade records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with research, operations, and compliance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven record of academic excellence or distinction in relevant coursework or research
• Good understanding of equity markets and basic trading concepts
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Japanese language skills are not required, but a strong interest in the Japanese equity market and culture is preferred
• Ability to deliver written analysis/reports and to provide oral presentations clearly and concisely
