Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. This position offers hands-on exposure to both quantity surveying and cost management functions, making it ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with some relevant experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, tender documents, and progress claims.
  • Support in quantity take-offs and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
  • Work with project teams on cost control, budgeting, and valuation of works.
  • Prepare and review quotations, material costs, and supplier comparisons.
  • Assist in contract administration, documentation, and variation works.
Cost & Material Coordination
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and delivery schedules.
  • Evaluate price options and ensure materials/services are procured within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of project cost data and supplier information.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project and commercial teams.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field.
  • Some relevant experience in construction or procurement will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
