Job description

What the role is:

You will support product trials and development initiatives for enterprise digital transformation while gathering and analysing user requirements from diverse stakeholders across the National Service (NS) ecosystem.

What you will be working on:

• Gather and analyse user requirements from diverse stakeholders including NSmen, commanders and various departments
• Coordinate closely with development teams, UX designers and stakeholders throughout complete product development cycles for OneNS digital application
• Conduct user research and testing to validate new eServices features before deployment to OneNS platform
• Explore innovative ways to improve OneNS experience and identify opportunities to enhance how NSmen interact with NS processes and services
• Support management of product backlogs and planning activities
• Maintain priorities and timelines for OneNS feature development and eServices enhancements
• Ensure seamless collaboration and delivery across product development cycles

What we are looking for:

• Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
• Strong academic performance with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and digital technologies
• Basic knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello
• Understanding of user experience principles and design thinking
• Basic data analysis skills and comfort with metrics
• Knowledge of cloud computing, mobile development or cybersecurity concepts is advantageous

The traineeship will be for a period of 6 months. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
