Job description
What the role is:

You will support product trials and development initiatives for enterprise digital transformation while working with a team that drives successful development and product management of common services within MINDEF's Commercial Cloud platform.

What you will be working on:
  • Build, manage and optimise shared cloud services as products, ensuring they meet diverse needs of MINDEF users while maintaining security, scalability and operational excellence across cloud infrastructure.
  • Conduct user research and testing to validate product features before deployment.
  • Support management of product backlogs and planning activities.
  • Maintain priorities and timelines for product development initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance by tracking product metrics and analyse user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and address cybersecurity, governance and compliance requirements, ensuring products meet policy and compliance standards.
What we are looking for:
  • Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and digital technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello.
  • Understanding of user experience principles and design thinking.
  • Basic data analysis skills and comfort with metrics.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, mobile development or cybersecurity concepts is advantageous.

The traineeship will be for a period of 6 months. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
