Telsecure, a provider of cybersecurity consultancy services, is seeking a talented Junior Penetration Tester to join our team. As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our client's systems and networks. Our company supports flexible work arrangement and this role offer the opportunity to deliver a wide range of cybersecurity services to our listed enterprise clients.

What you'll be doing

• Independently perform comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing (Web App, Network, Mobile App, Source Code Review) on client systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities.
• Support the delivery of other security services such as host configurations review, architecture review, risks assessments, threat modelling, threat hunting and red/purple teaming.
• Analyze and interpret test results, provide detailed reports, and recommend effective remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with client security team to implement and validate the effectiveness of security controls.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve the company's security measures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in penetration testing or vulnerability assessment.
• OCSP, CREST (CRT) or other equivalent certifications.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and common hacking methodologies.
• Proficiency in using security tools, such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, and Wireshark.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices.
