Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to participate in Operations Support System. This role requires experience in VLAN, IP networking and some background in Check Point firewall solutions.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science;
• Must have at least 1 year in IT Infrastructure role or as Network Engineer;
• Must have good communication skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Basic understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and Windows operating systems.
• Practical experience with VLAN configuration, IP assignment, and firewall rule management (Check Point or equivalent).
• Skilled in performing security assessments or risk evaluations for new systems or tools.
• Experience with IT/OT integration projects or working in industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage network resource allocation and perform onboarding activities for tools in the OT environment.
• Coordinate with network teams to set up switch ports, trunking, and VLAN tagging for tool integration.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and policy-compliant tool onboarding.
• Work with the cybersecurity team to review assessment results and propose mitigation measures.
• Apply project management skills to oversee onboarding initiatives.
• Offer on-call support for critical production environments, typically once or twice each quarter.
