Job summary

THALES DIS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer to support Industry 4.0 initiatives within the MCC.

You will participate in the development, maintenance, and support of software solutions, contributing to SDLC tasks and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, user‑centric applications. The role involves working with ERP/MES systems, DevOps activities, and documentation for operational teams, with emphasis on strong technical fundamentals and adaptability in

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years’ experience in full-stack (backend/frontend) development.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with full stack web development using proven frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Experience with RPA platforms (UiPath) is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to drive outcomes.
• Preferred languages: PHP, C#, Python, VBA.
• Experience with enterprise-grade dashboards like Power BI, Grafana, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Support the SDLC for Industry 4.0 solutions, RPA, and related applications.
• Contribute to coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of apps.
• Translate manufacturing needs into system specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, cybersecurity and IT for secure, user-centric solutions.
• Provide on-site first-level support for ERP and MES users.
• Create and maintain technical docs, user guides, and training materials.
• Assist DevOps and deployment activities for in-house software.
• Perform basic monitoring, troubleshooting, and upkeep of on-premise infra.
