About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Legal Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or an early-career professional looking to build a legal career in the offshore industry. You will work closely with the Legal and Compliance team to support contract management, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents (e.g., charter parties, ship management agreements, service contracts).
  • Provide legal support on corporate and commercial matters affecting the company.
  • Conduct research on laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the marine/offshore industry.
  • Support internal teams (operations, HR, procurement, finance) with legal and compliance queries.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, records, and documentation.
  • Liaise with external counsel and government agencies when required.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with international, regional, and local maritime laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant internship or prior exposure to corporate/maritime law is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and corporate law; familiarity with shipping/marine regulations is advantageous.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team.
