Job summary

Unicorn Foundations in Singapore is seeking a Junior Java Engineer to help build our backend services and scale data processing for millions of weekly users. You’ll contribute to reliable, well-tested software and collaborate with a talented team.

You’ll work with Java 21, Spring Boot 3.2, Kafka, Redis, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and Maven, and coordinate with business and product stakeholders to deliver robust features.

Qualifications

• Proven relevant education related to Software Development.
• Willingness to learn and work with our Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Ability and confidence to communicate within the team (Polish and English are required).
• Passion for software development and good engineering practices.
• First professional experience, e.g., internship, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop software responsible for data processing and delivery.
• Implement well-structured automated tests.
• Communicate with the business and product teams.
• Work on integrations with external partners.
