Job summary

AvePoint is seeking a motivated Junior Java Developer to join the Technology team in Singapore. You will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications while learning best practices in software development and contributing to team projects.

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of Java, OOP, and SQL, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. Exposure to Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and Git is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of Java programming and OO concepts.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs and Git is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
