Job summary

MASSONE ONG is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our Singapore studio. You will work on high-end residential, hospitality and commercial interiors from concept and spatial planning through detailing, FF&E and site.

This hands-on position calls for a design‑driven individual with a strong eye for space, proportion, materiality and detail, who can collaborate closely with the founders and design team on multiple projects at different stages.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience; candidates with 5+ years welcomed.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong spatial planning and conceptual design ability.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of interior concepts for high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects.
• Develop space-planning solutions that respond to architecture, circulation, function and the client’s lifestyle.
• Translate creative direction into mood boards, material palettes, sketches, layouts, 3D studies and presentation material.
• Produce SketchUp models and design studies to test proportion, composition, furniture placement and architectural details.
• Prepare clear and visually compelling client presentations using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Participate actively in internal design reviews and contribute ideas beyond instructions.
