Elliott Scott HR is partnering with a leading global Financial Services Firm to hire a Junior HR Business Partner to join their Human Resources team in London. Summary of the Role and Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support across the APAC region, working closely with senior HR Business Partners and regional stakeholders. You will be involved in a wide range of HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, and the delivery of key people initiatives.
- Partner with managers and employees to provide day‑to‑day HR advice on performance management, employee relations, and engagement matters.
- Support HR‑related activities across multiple APAC jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with local legislation, business priorities, and global HR standards.
- Assist with payroll coordination, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll data and liaising with external providers as required.
- Support the execution of annual HR cycle activities such as performance reviews, compensation reviews, and talent development planning.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of HR programmes and initiatives that enhance employee experience and organisational culture.
- Manage and resolve employee relations matters in compliance with regional employment laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
- Utilise HR data and analytics to identify trends, provide insights, and support decision‑making.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing across all business areas.
- Participate in regional HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- 4‑6 years of HR generalist or advisory experience, ideally within financial services or other professional, fast‑paced environments.
- Familiarity with HR operations across APAC markets and an understanding of regional employment practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different cultures.
- Experience supporting or coordinating payroll activities.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed and international business structure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar).
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it) preferred.
