Job summary

Job Description for Junior GST Compliance Officer
Responsibilities:
  • Verify and sort spreadsheet data containing permit inward and outward summaries for various customers.
  • Segregate values under different tax schemes for all overseas principals.
  • Reconcile spreadsheet values with inward and outward summary reports received from the airport, local subcontractors, and courier service providers.
  • Compile GST reports for overseas principals and local sales.
  • Prepare and file GST submissions, including inward, outward, and JSI reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation, including emails, IRAS correspondence, F5 submissions, and other GST-related records.
  • Update and maintain the MES list of local distribution agents under Section 33(2).
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, including tasks outlined in the Company’s practices.
  • Support the Finance and GST Manager with other assigned duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation accurately.
  • Basic understanding of data entry, record-keeping, and GST/compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; familiarity with accounting or GST systems is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills for effective coordination with internal departments and external vendors/service providers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced compliance and reporting environment.
