Job summary

WorldQuant seeks technically skilled professionals to join our execution desk, monitoring automated flow across equities, FX, futures and other asset classes in multiple regions. You will provide first-line support and contribute to projects that add liquidity and reduce the cost of implementing our models.

Candidates should hold a degree in a quantitative or technical field and have 1+ years in trading, DevOps or analytics supporting investment strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top-tier institution.
• 1+ years of work experience in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading, DevOps or Analytics role supporting investment strategies.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) a strong plus.
• Enthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution trading.

Responsibilities

• Monitor execution across equities, FX, Futures and other asset classes, trading in different regions.
• Provide first-line support for any issues arising from the automated execution flow.
• Conduct project work in areas including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuant's models.
• Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes.
• Interface directly with Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Senior Management, Compliance, Risk and many other teams.
