Job summary

FLINTEX CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to assist with DevOps and GitOps on cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with developers to ensure processes are followed and deployments are reliable.

The role involves maintaining IaC and CI/CD pipelines, applying GitOps to Kubernetes, and monitoring cloud resources with Azure tools. The position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and opportunities for internal training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, IS or equivalent; IT experience can substitute.
1–3 years of commercial IT/DevOps experience; minimum 1 year hands-on.
Foundational Linux knowledge in physical/virtualized environments; Bash scripting basics.
Experience with declarative IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM, OpenTofu, or equivalent.
Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, CircleCI, Azure DevOps or equivalent.
Familiarity with Agile, GitOps, and Twelve-factor methodologies.
Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
Understanding infrastructure concepts for Data and AI workloads (GPU, AI cloud services).

Responsibilities

Assist with IaC solutions to provision and manage cloud resources.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines to test, build and deploy microservices to cloud environments.
Apply GitOps practices to declaratively create Kubernetes clusters, applications, and configurations across environments.
Maintain centralized monitoring strategy (logging, metrics, alerting) for cloud resources.
Monitor Azure workloads and perform root cause analysis of issues in deployed apps and infrastructure.
Support development teams with daily operations and access requests for CI/CD, code quality gates, and version control.
