Job description

The Junior Desktop Support role is responsible for the construction, testing, installation, operations, and facility management of client platforms to meet agreed business needs and service levels. This includes troubleshooting issues, monitoring service levels, managing system configurations, and contributing to the implementation and upgrade of client platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot client platform-related problems and provide timely resolution.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, investigate, and offer temporary or permanent solutions for escalated issues.
  • Provide timely status updates to relevant stakeholders regarding incident resolution.
  • Handle service requests related to client platforms, ensuring that all requests are addressed and resolved.
  • Monitor agreed service levels and document system configurations. Provide regular reports to relevant parties.
  • Participate in client platform implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Manage client platform implementation and upgrade projects to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct research and evaluations on client platform tools for potential improvements.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on system-related matters to customers and project teams.
  • Manage client platform management systems effectively.
  • Handle system changes through the change request process and provide status reports to relevant parties.
  • Assist in client platform-related presales tasks.
  • Gather business and/or application requirements and perform infrastructure requirement analysis and design.
  • Ensure service levels meet requirements and propose and implement action plans when necessary.
  • Establish facility management standards and best practices to ensure consistent operation across project and facility management teams.
Mandatory Skills
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 operating system.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Windows 11 operating system.
