Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Junior Data Project Manager in Singapore to assist planning and delivery of data and cloud projects.

You will coordinate activities across stakeholders and technical teams, track progress, and support documentation and successful project delivery. The role requires about 5 years of experience in project coordination or related technology/data projects, with a basic understanding of data platforms and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in project coordination, technology projects, data projects, or a related environment.
• Basic understanding of data engineering, data platforms, data warehousing, analytics, or cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with GCP and/or AWS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scope definition, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate data project activities across requirements, data sourcing, ETL/ELT, testing, deployment, and handover.
• Work with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and technical teams to track project progress.
• Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items, and elevate where necessary.
• Support Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist with data quality, validation, governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate testing activities including data validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Track project schedules, resources, costs, and vendor deliverables where applicable.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk/issue registers.
• Support production deployment, data migration, change management, and post-implementation activities.
• Assist in monitoring project outcomes against agreed objectives and KPIs.

• Basic understanding of data engineering, data platforms, data warehousing, analytics, or cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with GCP and/or AWS is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of ETL/ELT, PySpark/Scala, data pipelines, metadata management, or scheduling platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies is preferred.
• Good analytical, organisational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical and project management capabilities.
