TIANCHENG ELECTRICAL MARINE EQUIPMENT PTE. LTD. is looking for a data engineer to analyze and organize raw data, build data systems and pipelines, and support data-driven decisions.

You will evaluate business needs, interpret trends, and conduct advanced data analysis, preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling. Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and data-quality practices is essential.

APPLIED PHYSICS IS REQUIRED.

Qualifications

• Experience as data engineer or similar role.
• Strong data modeling, data mining, and segmentation skills.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Hands-on SQL database design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT; Master's preferred.
• IBM Data Engineer certification is a plus.
• Applied Physics is required.

Requirements and skills

• Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design
• Great numerical and analytical skills
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; a Master’s is a plus
• Data engineering certification (e.g IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus
• APPLIED PHYSICS IS REQUIRED.
