Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Junior Conveyancing Lawyer to handle property transactions. The successful candidate will prepare and review legal documents, advise clients on property buying or selling matters, and engage in negotiations with other party’s lawyers. A Bachelor’s degree in law and 0-3 years of post-qualification experience in conveyancing are required. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about property laws and conveyancing procedures. This role offers a starting salary of $5,500.

Junior Conveyancing Lawyer

Working Days: 5 days
Working Timing: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Working Location: Telok Ayer
Starting Salary: $5,500

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions. These documents include sale and purchase agreements and loan agreements.
• You will provide advice to clients on all aspects of buying or selling property. This includes legal issues, financial considerations, and contract matters.
• Engage in negotiations with the other party’s lawyer for the Option to Purchase (OTP). Provide advice to clients on the conveyancing process and their rights and obligations.
• Liaise with various parties involved in the transaction, including real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law
• 0-3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in conveyancing or related legal work.
• Familiarity with property laws and conveyancing procedures.
