Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a finance professional to handle the full accounting cycle for Australia and NZ from a Singapore base, including monthly closings, GST, tax, and intercompany activities.

The role involves collaborating with BPO for monthly reporting and coordinating with auditors on audits. The position offers a 4,000–5,000 SGD monthly base, AWS, a variable bonus, and excellent welfare with clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or equivalent.
• 2–3 years experience with full set of accounting.
• Experience with AS400/Orbit ERP and monthly closings.
• CPA/CA or international equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of financials including monthly closing for Australia and NZ.
• Engage with BPO for monthly reporting activities.
• GST, Tax Return / FBT; coordinate with tax agent to file on due date.
• Liaise with auditors for year-end audit and respond to queries.
• Prepare local statutory accounts and meet filing deadlines.
• Uphold internal control policies and procedures.
• Intercompany transfers/recharges between Australia and NZ.
• Cash flow management including payments and FX hedging.
• Update banking mandates; liaison on transfer prices.
• Support financial closing activities for ASEAN.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Working location: Lorong Chuan (walking distance from MRT station)

Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of financials; including monthly closing and accounts payables activities for Australia and NZ
• Engage with BPO on a regular basis on monthly reporting activities
• In charge of all GST, Tax Return / FBT all Tax compliance matters and coordinate tax agent to ensure filings complete on due date
• Liaise with auditors for year-end audit and answer queries of auditors
• Preparing local statuary accounts and ensuring compliance with filing deadlines
• Uphold finance and internal control policies and procedures, per delegation of authority matrix
• Intercompany transfers/recharges to/from Australia and NZ
• Cash flow management, including payments to third parties and intercompany as well as settlement of foreign currency hedging contracts
• Updates of banking mandates for assigned entities
• Liaise with affiliates on transfer price issues
• Responsible for annual update of transfer prices and/or price lists
• Support financial and closing activities for Asean
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree in accountancy or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience with full set of accounting
• Understanding of company ERP system AS400/Orbit
• Hands‑on experience in monthly closing of full set of accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Understanding of journals, accounts payables and accounts receivables posting
• CPA/CA or international equivalent would be preferred
