Job summary

A professional services firm seeks a self-driven individual to manage a full range of accounting and finance activities for clients. Responsibilities include preparing accounts, tax returns, payroll processing, and assisting with company secretary tasks. Candidates should have a degree in Accountancy or Finance and strong skills in MS Excel. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills preferred.
  • Preferably minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, fresh graduates may also apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts of assigned clients' portfolio.
  • Prepare GST/Withholding Tax returns and statutory yearly reporting.
  • Perform full monthly payroll processing.
  • Assist with company secretary activities.
  • Assist with company secretary activities and ad-hoc requests.

About the role

We are inviting a self-driven individual to lead and manage a full fledge of accounting and finance activities for a client’s portfolio. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of tasks and problems to support international businesses, as well as being involved to other internal commercial matters and corporate secretary type of tasks.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Team Lead or Directors, understanding the business models of each assigned clients to act as an advisor, the duties and responsibilities are:

  • Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts (AR/AP and GL) of the assigned clients’ portfolio along with supporting schedules and any other necessary reconciliation, as well as reporting and support cashflow forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Prepare GST / Withholding Tax returns as well as statutory yearly reporting (i.e. XBRL files, Financial statements under IFRS and SFRS, etc.).
  • Perform full monthly payroll processing including: maintain HR master data, process pay-runs, upkeep social security administration, statutory filing and annual income tax return submissions.
  • Prepare the annual tax returns for the assigned clients.
  • Assist with company secretary activities for the assigned clients portfolio.
  • Work on any other ad-hoc requests from clients as included in the agreed scope.
