Job summary

JOBLINE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. seeks a Java Developer to join the development team in Singapore. You will work on Web applications using Java technologies, design, develop, and test code, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with senior developers.

You will also prepare technical documents, support deployments, and contribute to API integration efforts while leveraging cloud experience. Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience with Java and related tools.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer.
• Good working knowledge in Java/J2EE and .Net.
• Extensive experience with Java frameworks/SDKs and front-end or back-end development.
• Strong Java development experience with RDMS like Oracle/MSSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with REST, RPC, MVC, APIs and Hibernate.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience deploying on Cloud (AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to development team lead.
• Work within project team to develop and test Web applications based on Java technologies.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Assist senior developers in analyzing and resolving technical issues.
• Assist in preparing manuals, specifications and other technical documents.
• Package and support deployment releases.
• Develop and refine integrations between applications.
• Assist in collecting user requirements, developing user stories, and estimates.
