Job summary

IDC Technologies (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior Java developer to support a data migration project for a corporate banking client. The role involves migrating data to MariaDB, converting and optimizing stored procedures, and tuning SQL for performance.

You will develop Spring Boot services and REST APIs, build Spring Batch jobs, and assist with data validation across a data set of 250k–300k records. Collaboration on testing, cutover activities, and documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and REST API.
• Strong MariaDB/SQL skills, including stored procedures and SQL tuning.
• Experience in data migration or database migration projects.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data and database objects to MariaDB.
• Develop, convert, and optimize stored procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Migrate data and database objects to MariaDB
2. Develop, convert, and optimize stored procedures
3. Perform SQL tuning to improve query and batch performance
4. Develop and enhance Spring Boot services and REST APIs
5. Build and maintain Spring Batch jobs for data processing
6. Support data validation and reconciliation (corporate data volume approx. 250k–300k records)

Required Skills
