Job summary

BGC Group Pte Ltd in Singapore is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for safety-critical and mission-critical applications. You will ensure reliability, security, and performance while applying best practices across projects.

You will lead technical guidance to teams, work with architects, and use microservices, cloud-native architectures, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, system design, and integration patterns including microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs, API integrations, messaging systems, or event streaming platforms is advantageous.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cloud architecture, and secure software development practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerisation technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform/Helm).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing frameworks, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience developing high-availability, high-performance, or real-time software systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities
