Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, document and implement new systems, as well as enhancements and modifications to existing software with code that complies with design specifications and meets security and Java best practices.
• Interact with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology.
• Deliver zero defect code and be responsible for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations.
• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.

Skills / Competencies

Essential Skills

• Degree in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• 4–5 years’ experience of Full Stack Java Development in a containerized microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot, with strong UI/UX development experience in React.
• Technology Breakdown:
  • Microservices & Cloud: Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Backend Development: Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL and/or MongoDB (open source).
  • Application Server: Spring Boot, JBOSS Web Server.
  • Frontend Development: React 18+, HTML5/CSS.
  • Development Tools & Platforms: VS Code, IntelliJ, GitHub, JIRA, Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of open‑source web development tools and modern software engineering practices.
• Cards & payments domain experience.

Additional Skills

• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills.
