Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
• Develop integrations with MuleSoft, Okta, and enterprise systems.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and AWS CodePipeline/CodeCommit.
• Work with SQL/Oracle databases and optimize queries and application performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Grafana and AWS CloudWatch.
• Participate in production support, incident resolution, RCA, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, and business teams throughout the SDLC.

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices within a cloud-native AWS environment.

The role will be responsible for developing robust and high-performing backend solutions, integrating with enterprise platforms and third-party systems, and continuously improving the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of backend applications. The developer will also contribute to production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions
• Develop integrations with MuleSoft, Okta, and enterprise systems
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and AWS CodePipeline/CodeCommit

Requirements

• 7+ years of Java backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ & Spring Boot 3.x
• Strong experience in Microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs
• Hands-on AWS: ECS, EC2, RDS
• Experience with CI/CD: GitLab, AWS CodeCommit, CodePipeline
• Experience with IaC and cloud deployment
• Strong SQL/Oracle and relational database knowledge
• Experience with Okta authentication/authorization
• Experience with MuleSoft/API integration
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage
• Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, performance, and scalable application design

Good to Have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
