Amaris Consulting Singapore is seeking a mid–senior fullstack developer to design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks. You will own backend services, RESTful APIs, and database design, while collaborating across Business Analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/SE/IT or related field required.
• 3–6 years of software engineering/full-stack experience.
• Strong Java programming and OOP fundamentals.
• Solid Spring Boot / Spring Framework experience.
• Relational database design, SQL, indexing, and query optimization.
• RESTful API design, development, and consumption.
• Frontend tech: JavaScript, HTML, CSS; framework experience with React/Angular/Vue.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support apps on Apache Tomcat; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Work with BAs, QA, PMs, Infra, and other developers through the SDLC.
• Use Git and established practices to ensure code quality and collaboration.
• Own technical delivery from development to production support; contribute to docs and standards.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade fullstack applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Develop robust and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs for enterprise applications and system integration.
• Design and optimize relational databases, including SQL queries, table relationships, indexing, and data structures.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Deploy, configure, and support applications running on Apache Tomcat.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, Project Managers, Infrastructure teams, and other developers throughout the SDLC.
• Use Git and established development practices to maintain code quality, version control, and collaboration.
• Take ownership of technical delivery from development through deployment and production support.
• Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in Software Engineering, Fullstack Development, Java Development, or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Java, with solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of relational database design, including SQL, table relationships, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on Apache Tomcat.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ IDEA or a similar Java development environment.
• Strong knowledge of Git / version control systems.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
