Job summary

Trinity Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE expert to lead design and delivery of complex features in a microservices environment. You will shape architectures and mentor teams.

The role requires hands-on development with Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, HBase, HDFS and MongoDB, plus containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD using Jenkins and GitLab. Strong knowledge of Spring Frameworks, TDD/BDD, UML, and Agile/Scrum practices will help drive quality

Qualifications

• 6–8 years hands-on Java/J2EE development experience.
• Distributed platform and microservices architecture knowledge.
• Solution design using proven patterns; awareness of anti-patterns.
• Hands-on with Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, HBase, HDFS, MongoDB.
• Proficiency in Spring Frameworks including IOC, Spring Boot, Spring Integration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
• CI/CD with Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory/Nexus, Maven.
• TDD/BDD with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber.
• Strong software architecture, design patterns, best practices.
• Leadership in design/implementation of complex features.
• UML-based system design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting; communication and teamwork.

Job description

• Must have a minimum of 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Deep understanding of distributed platform & micro services architecture
• Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance tuning
• Proficiency with technologies such as Spark programming, Flink, Kafka, Elastic Search,HBase, HDFS, and Mongo DB
• Profound knowledge in Spring Frameworks encompassing IOC, Sprint Boot, SpringIntegration & more
• Hands-on experience in software deployment and orchestration technologies,including Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficient in utilizing build and continuous integration services such as Jenkins, GitLab,Artifactory, Nexus and Maven
• Extensive experience working in TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-DrivenDevelopment) environments, utilizing unit testing frameworks such as JUnit,Mockito and Cucumber
• Strongunderstanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of complex features andapplications.
• Verygood understanding of application system design, development, testing,deployment and maintenance using UML.
• Basic cash management functional knowledge.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum working methodologies.
