Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Staffing) is seeking a Software Developer to design and develop scalable solutions using Scala/Java in a fast-paced environment. You will apply modern engineering practices, TDD, and automation while collaborating with global teams and mentoring developers.

You will contribute to the technology blueprint, optimize applications, and communicate technical details effectively to leadership. Experience with Agile/Scrum and related tools is valued.

Qualifications

The Software Developer will design and develop scalable solutions using Scala/Java, applying modern engineering practices, TDD, Agile, and automation tools. The role involves collaborating with global teams, mentoring developers, optimizing applications, and supporting technology solutions within a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

• Strong development experience in Scala and/or Java.
• Strong understanding of OOP and Functional Programming principles.
• Experience with Event Sourcing and CQRS.
• Knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, clean code principles, and software engineering best practices.
• Strong experience with TDD, ATDD/BDD, Specification by Example, and continuous integration.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Gradle, GitHub, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with ReactJS, Elasticsearch, and AngularJS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AMPS messaging and SQL/database programming is a plus.
• Understanding of Capital Markets, particularly securities trade processing, clearing, and settlements, is advantageous.
