Job summary

Virtusa Corporation is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to drive the development of scalable backend services for finance and banking projects. You will work on RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket integrations, ensuring robust data handling with SQL/NoSQL databases.

A strong emphasis on unit testing and API documentation is required. Candidates should bring 5+ years of BE development experience in financial domains, with a track record of delivering secure, high-performance backend

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a BE Developer in finance/banking or corporate financial management projects linked with banking systems or digital platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience with RESTful API, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, design principles, and security considerations.
• Experience applying unit testing.
• Design and develop backend applications meeting functional and business requirements with API documentation standards.
