Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and distributors
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and participation in exhibitions
  • Collaborate with senior managers to set strategic and operational goals aligned with company objectives
  • Coordinate with R&D teams to enhance product presentations and introduce new features
  • Liaise with factories on production forecasts, quality, delivery, engineering issues, and pricing to support sales targets
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and provide after-sales support
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports and forecasts to the divisional sales manager
  • Plan and manage budgets for exhibitions, tradeshows, and advertising to support brand development
  • Propose and execute customer visits to address issues, gather market insights, and understand customer expectations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in flat cables, electronics, or electrical components
  • Proficient in Japanese for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
  • Willing to travel overseas when required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good business acumen and customer relationship management skills
  • Experience in planning and budgeting for exhibitions and marketing activities is an added advantage
