Responsibilities

• Evaluate, deploy, and roll out IT services and cybersecurity software across the organization.
• Plan, design, and implement security solutions and tools; establish operational rules.
• Support project handling during security incidents and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage operational quality, conduct functional evaluations, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate across departments to drive enterprise-wide deployment projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese and English for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and HQ.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure design, deployment, and validation (network, cloud, servers).
• Experience planning and deploying cybersecurity platforms and evaluating IT security solutions.
• At least 3 years of application development or operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with security incident response and project management, including issue identification and progress tracking.
• Knowledge and operational experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services.
• Proven ability to coordinate across departments and manage large-scale projects.
• Professional certifications such as AWS, CISSP, CISM, or Registered Information Security Specialist.
• Experience researching and implementing emerging technologies (AI, Zero Trust, IoT) is an added advantage.
• Experience developing and improving security operational rules and internal policies is an added advantage.
• Prior work experience in IT industry (SI vendors, technology vendors) is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain and persuade based on audience perspective.
• Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong collaboration and consensus-building skills.
