Job summary

A leading education provider in Singapore is seeking a teacher proficient in both Japanese and English to lead engaging activities and support the learning of children. The ideal candidate should have prior experience teaching Japanese and possess strong adaptability and creativity. This role involves monitoring student progress and building relationships with parents and staff within a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience teaching Japanese from Elementary to Intermediate levels is preferred.
  • Independent and able to think innovatively.

  • Lead engaging activities such as songs, games, and storytelling.
  • Establish routines and provide positive support to help children grow in confidence.
  • Teach lessons according to the centre’s curriculum.
  • Monitor and document student progress.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents, staff, and children.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment.
  • Support and oversee Assistant Teachers and classroom helpers.
  • Work according to the centre’s shift schedule.
