As we expand into Japan, we’re hiring a marketing leader to build our Japan business from zero to one—driving awareness, organic growth, and user acquisition across digital and influencer channels.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead DeskIn’s Japan marketing strategy, from planning to execution.
  • Localize brand positioning, messaging, and creative to fit Japanese audiences.
  • Drive new user acquisition and ROI‑positive growth via Google Ads, Yahoo! JAPAN Ads, LINE, SmartNews, and social media.
  • Build and scale influencer/KOL marketing, managing creators on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X.
  • Grow organic traffic and brand presence through SEO, AEO, GEO, content, and community initiatives.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with creators, tech communities, and local brands.
  • Use analytics tools (GA4, GTM, Looker) to optimize performance and report clear business impact.
  • Manage Japan-based freelancers and agencies for design, media, and PR support.
What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years in consumer or tech marketing; 2–4+ years leading growth in Japan.
  • Proven success in building B2C brands from scratch in Japan.
  • Deep knowledge of Japan‑specific marketing channels (Google Ads, Yahoo! JAPAN Ads, LINE, SmartNews).
  • Hands‑on experience with influencer marketing, organic social growth, and SEO/AEO/GEO.
  • AI‑savvy and data‑driven, comfortable using AI tools for content, targeting, and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Native‑level Japanese and business‑level English/Chinese proficiency.
