Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for the Japan Real Estate Specialist (Senior Role)

Key Responsibilities :
  • Lead and oversee all cross-border property investment activities between the Singapore and Japan offices (Tokyo and Osaka).
  • Provide advisory support to Singapore clients and partners on Japan real estate acquisition, financing structures, and investment compliance.
  • Liaise with Japanese developers, management companies, and financial institutions to coordinate property launches, project due diligence, and mortgage facilitation for foreign buyers.
  • Develop and implement market entry and expansion on Japan’s latest real estate, tourism, and financial trends.
  • Conduct training sessions for the Singapore team to transfer knowledge on Japan’s property loan systems, ownership regulations, and Minpaku (short-stay) licensing requirements.
  • Manage communication and negotiations in English, and Japanese to ensure operational accuracy and regulatory alignment.
Required Skills & Experience :
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Japan’s property investment, development, or financing sectors.
  • Deep understanding of Japan’s mortgage system and-border financing structures (bank mortgage facilitation experience preferred).
  • Strong industry network with Japanese developers, banks, and property management companies.
  • Proven expertise in investment analysis, project coordination, and client advisory for international property transactions.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English, Mandarin and Japanese, with cross-cultural communication skills essential for bridging operations between both markets.
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, and training skills.
