Thales Engineering Competence Centre (ECC) is a well established R&D and engineering centre serving major customers worldwide in Digital Identity and Security domains ranging from mobile connectivity, IoT, banking & payment to government solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the development and implementation of product IVVQ strategy, IVVQ scope of work (hardware and software), and operational plans to deliver against this scope
  • Creation, maintenance and monitor execution of product IVVQ plans – maximizing the use of automated test methods to increase efficiency
    wherever possible
  • Review internally and externally generated Technical Artifacts (Requirements Specifications, Design Documentation and Architecture Documents) from an IVVQ perspective
  • Establish and maintain appropriate IVVQ metrics to support progress reporting and decision making
  • Lead and coordinate all governance reviews associated with the IVVQ phase of the product development lifecycle
  • Lead on the creation and monitor execution of product Integration and Verification Test Requirements and Schedules, including analysis of test results
  • Prepare and execution of product Integration and Verification Test at the Solution or System Context when applicable
  • Coordinate on the creation, review and acceptance of Verification Test
  • Reports from engineering teams in factory and on site tests
  • Support customer meetings, and participate in product demonstrations with key stakeholders and customers when applicable
  • Lead the collation of evidence to support population of the product compliance matrix in support of system certification
  • Ensure the proper defect and change request management application in the context of IVVQ activities, including anomalities recording
  • Provides technical guidance and architectural arbitration related to IVVQ activities and environment transversally across multiple products
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience building embedded software products
  • Familiar with IVVQ principles, including functional testing, performance testing, stress testing, endurance testing, recovery testing, ad hoc testing, etc.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to present and explain technical problems, tailored appropriately for the audience
  • Experience with Software and/or Hardware development, system-level integration and Test Automation
  • Experience with common requirement management tools, e.g. JIRA, Doors
  • Experience in scrum/agile development methodologies
  • Evidence of using test tools, early verification and validation through simulation
  • Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and code management repository tools like Bitbucket
