You will design, configure, and document telecommunication systems across safety, security, and marine navigation domains. Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial or marine sectors.
• Site commissioning or radio survey experience (SOLAS/MODU) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into effective engineering designs and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare engineering documents (VDRL) and resolve client feedback promptly and accurately.
• Develop preliminary sketches and guide AutoCAD drafters to produce detailed engineering drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and best practices.
• Support technicians in equipment setup, cabinet integration, configuration, and system testing.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and deliver in-house technical training for clients and commissioning teams.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc engineering or project tasks as required.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated System Engineer to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and technical documentation of various telecommunication systems across safety, security, and marine navigation domains.

You should have hands‑on experience in technologies such as IP infrastructure, WiFi/WLAN, firewall security, IP-PABX, PAGA, CCTV, VCS, TETRA/DMR UHF/VHF Radio, GMDSS Radio, GEO/MEO/LEO VSAT, IPTV, Radar, and Gyrocompass systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into effective engineering designs and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare engineering documents (VDRL) and resolve client feedback promptly and accurately.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Telecommunications or relevant engineering discipline.
• With 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial or marine sectors.
• AutoCAD certification is an advantage.
• Site commissioning or radio survey experience (SOLAS/MODU) is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as CadnaA (PAGA), Ekahau (WiFi coverage), iBwave (UHF/GSM coverage) will be advantageous.
• Strong documentation, coordination, and time management skills.
• Confident in communicating technical concepts with clients and suppliers.
• Able to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive, resourceful, and deadline‑driven.
