Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage and support its IT infrastructure. The role involves daily health checks, end-user support, and documentation. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in IT operations and be familiar with RHEL, firewalls, and network setups. A diploma or degree in IT is required, along with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in IT Infrastructure / IT Operations / Application Support.
• Strong working experience in RHEL, Firewalls, and Hypervisor/Containerization.
• Intermediate knowledge on network setup (VLAN, IPSec VPN, SDWAN, Routing protocol etc).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily applications & system health checks.
• Manage and support company's IT infrastructure.

• Deploy application releases to UAT & Production.

Job Description

• Perform daily applications & system health checks
• Manage and support company's IT infrastructure (Network, System, Storage etc)
• Provide end user devices support for internal staff
• Prepare and maintain proper documentations on IT assets, network diagrams, system
  configurations etc
• Deploying application releases to UAT & Production environment
• Liaise with customer's IT personnel to identify problems and provide solutions
• Provide call-support and on-site support whenever necessary
• Document and track incidents with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive
  actions
• Occasional after office hours and weekend support is required (Off in lieu provided)
• Any other tasks assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in IT Infrastructure / IT Operations / Application Support. More qualified candidates will be considered for senior positions.
• Strong working experience in RHEL ,Firewalls, Hypervisor/Containerization
• Intermediate knowledge on network setup ( VLAN, IPSec VPN, SDWAN, Routing protocol etc)
• Able to work independently with good initiative and willingness to take on responsibility
• Possess RHCSA/RHCE certification will be an added advantage
• Some development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, JAVA, Unix shell script or JQuery will be advantageous
• Working experience in CI/CD implementation will be an added advantage
• Working experience in Oracle and MySQL database will be an added advantage
• Working experience in Financial Services environment will be an added advantage
