A local technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide technical support for accounting and inventory solutions. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Information Technology, with experience in server maintenance and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience with setup & maintenance of windows servers and virtual machines.
  • Experience in technical support of accounting or inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on virtual and windows servers.
  • Responsible for server preventive maintenance and backup procedures.
  • Prepare and update all system documentation and backup procedures.
  • Provide technical support on accounting and inventory solutions.

Job description
Responsibilities:
Primary duties-
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on virtual server, windows server, network connection
  • Responsible for server preventive maintenance, back-up procedures to ensure that servers are functioning to meet user needs
  • Prepare & update all system documentation, backup procedures
Secondary duties:-
  • Provide technical support on accounting and inventory solution
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to end user
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experience with setup & maintenance of windows servers, virtual machines (Citrix), remote desktop, router, Fortinet firewall
  • Experience in technical support of accounting or inventorysoftware will be an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated in problem solving
  • Able to work as a team and independently
