We are seeking multi skilled and detail‑oriented IT support engineers to join our field services team, specializing in diagnosing and repairing laptop/desktop hardware/software issues. The candidates should have a strong technical background and good problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware/software support
- Perform hardware diagnostics, break‑fix repairs, and part replacements on laptops/desktops (motherboards, displays/LCD, keyboards, batteries, etc.) at the client’s premise.
- Document all service and repair activities accurately in the ticketing system.
- Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and service levels.
- Assist with hardware BIOS upgrades and operating system imaging when necessary.
- Manage and work with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to provide services including retail event setup, on‑site support for local business operations, and providing support for office and retail/store users.
- Perform hardware staging.
- Service administrative support.
- Coordinate receiving/outgoing of IT hardware and spare parts.
- Receive stock and verify correct shipment details.
- Dispatch spare parts to support engineer.
- Update stock records through customer system.
- Liaise and coordinate with logistics/customers for delivery of hardware to project site.
- Control, update and maintain records of inventory and movement of stock.
- Perform stock take on the asset inventory.
Qualifications
- Diploma in IT/Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven experience (2–3 years) in hardware/software break‑fix and troubleshooting.
- Sound knowledge and experience of supporting retail and/or consumer products industry.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
